“I regard human actions and appetites exactly as if they were questions of lines, planes, and bodies.”
—Baruch Spinoza

Free feeling in a closed body.
Free body in a confined space.
Free movement in a clear rhythm.
Is it possible?

The choreography and drama of the performance are based on the ambiguity of the meanings of movement and objects, as well as the situations in which the characters find themselves.
The walls surrounding us: are they barriers or forms of protection? How do the concepts intersect - "connecting thread", "transparent borders", "memory layers", "vicious circle" ...?

The performance was created under support of

ZERO Dance Gallery
has been exploring this multidimensional world since 2002
Originally established as the ‘Theatre ZERO ’ contemporary dance laboratory, the project has expanded its activities to bring together various art forms – contemporary dance, visual art and music.

“By synthesising Eastern and Western ways of thinking, I strive to combine powerful expression with inner stillness in my work.
Whilst developing in various directions, I retain my starting point as a place of tranquillity, to which I can always return in order to move forward… perhaps in a different direction.”

The creative concept is based on the fundamental elements underlying dance – energy, space, time and flow. My artistic interests lie at the intersection of the principles of choreography and the visual arts."
Konstantin Grouss, artist, dancer and choreographer, the founder and artistic
director of the “ZERO Dance Gallery” project.
